Sophomore Alison Menzies and junior Cristee Cordes will kick-off on the 3-meter on Thursday, March 14 and continue competition on the 1-meter on Friday, March 15.

Swimming & Diving msuspartans.com —  In addition to breaking the school record in the 400 freestyle relay, senior Jacob Jarzen added two more MSU records in the 200 backstroke and 100 freestyle on the fourth and final day of competition at the Big Ten Swimming and Diving Championships. With a total of seven new school records, the Spartans finished the conference meet with 126 points to place 10th. Discuss »

Jarzen turned in a school record in the 100 butterfly and although the Spartans did not score in the 200 freestyle relay, they continued to turn in career-best performances to end the day in 10th place with 86 points. The four-day meet against conference foes will be held at the Councilman-Billingsly Aquatic Center on the campus of Indiana University. Competition begins Wednesday night with the 200 medley and 800 freestyle relays and will continue at 11 a.m. Thursday through Saturday with preliminary heats, while finals will be held at 6:30 p.m. nightly.
